Mysto & Pizzi Open Writer Submissions

1. Watch the video below

2. Download the Beats (there are 2 versions, choose 1 to your liking) below by first reading and accepting the download disclaimer. (this is so that you as well as us are protected).

3. Write a complete R&B/Pop song on the beat that we provided (we're not looking for Hip-Hop/Rap songs). Have yourself or someone who can sing lay down the reference to their best ability. After recording, mix down the song to your best ability. Doesn't have to be professional, just so it sounds decent. The basic arrangement* of the beat is as follows:

*This arrangement could be changed to your liking, do whatever feels right or works for your song, just make sure to chop the beat right. The BPM of the beat is: 108

4. After you have the song finished, email it back to us in .mp3 format at this address: mystoandpizzi@gmail.com . Make sure the subject reads "Song Submission to Mysto & Pizzi" . We will then go through all the submissions and listen to each one. Make sure to provide all your contact information in the email including name and email.

5. ADD us as Friends on MySpace and Subscribe to our YouTube channel to make sure you stay up-to-date on whats happening with us as well as any updates regarding the submissions.

6. Finally we have some rules that everyone must adhere to and accept by agreeing to the disclaimer below :

1. You cannot use this musical composition for personal purposes such as recording a song for yourself or releasing it to the public. 2. You cannot give this "master" out to other people other than yourself. If you know a writer who is interested in writing to it, redirect them to this page and have them download it on their own, otherwise you will be held responsible for their action(s). 3. You cannot replay, reproduce, or in any way use the melodies, chord arrangements, and overall musical composition of this "master" in your own compositions. This "master" is copyrighted by Law and we will take legal action if copyright infringement occurs. 4. You cannot submit the song you write on this "master" to anyone else other than "Mysto and Pizzi" unless you receive a direct written permission from "Mysto and Pizzi" to permit otherwise. 5. By submitting your song to us you agree that if we like it, we have the right to (with your permission) to play the record to A&R's, Label Execs, as well as artists whom we feel might be interested in the song in hopes of placing the record. 6. By submitting this song to us you are NOT giving us ownership of the song. Everything that you have written is still legally yours and we're not out to jack or steal anything from anyone. We are fair and we are doing this to find new writers, who can write hit records! A writer with whom we can build a working professional producer/writer relationship. If the song gets placed then we will officially work out a producer/writer agreement where we will discuss publishing splits and other details. 7. By picking your song we are not giving a guarantee that it will get placed. That is not up to us, we are merely giving an opportunity to write on one of our records and like stated before, build a relationship. 8. You acknowledge that "Mysto and Pizzi" may receive numerous unsolicited audio recordings and that it is possible that they may receive two recordings from different parties which are similar or alike. You understand that You will not be entitled to any compensation because of the use by "Mysto and Pizzi" of any such similar or identical material. You further understand that "Mysto and Pizzi" would refuse to accept or otherwise evaluate the material in the absence of your acceptance of each and all of the provisions of this disclaimer. You shall retain all the rights to submit the material (the song, not the beat) submitted to "Mysto and Pizzi" to persons other than you. You acknowledge that no fiduciary or confidential relationship now exists between us, and You further acknowledge that no such relationships are established between us by reason of this disclaimer or by reason of your submission to us of any material. You request that "Mysto and Pizzi" evaluate the material submitted to them, however, "Mysto and Pizzi" shall have no obligation to do so nor inform me of their evaluation, if any. "Mysto and Pizzi" may use without any obligation whatsoever to you and without any payment to you, any of the material which is not concrete, or which is not protectable under the law, or which a third person would be free to use if the material had not been submitted to him or had not been the subject of any agreement with him, or which is in the public domain.
