Hey hey, quick update. We filmed this video like a month or so ago but couldnt post it just yet. We basically had a meeting with an A&R, Ampora Sapp, at Sony Records regarding the Kelly Rowland “Love” track co-written with Solange Knowles that we produced for her new album titled Ms. Kelly in stores July 3rd. It was our first time hearing the song and we loved it. Unfortunetly we couldnt play the full song in the video because we dont wanna leak it and cause any problems for the label but stay tuned because we will def. be bloggin the making of the beat once the album comes out. We also got to play a track we did for Lil’ Fizz called “Around the Way”. The label already had a beat for the song but they couldnt use it so had us re-do a new beat for the song, you get to see us playing the joint for the first time in the video. We’re not sure if our Lil’ Fizz beat will get used but we hope we make the cut for the album. Finally, we played some new beats for Ampora as well as get a chance to meet Mathew Knowles who congratulated us on the Kelly Rowland record and listened to some of our new tracks. All in all we’re very excited about this and cant wait to see where it takes us, so make sure to stay tuned and subscribe if you havent already.

Whats good everyone, we just got news a few days ago that we got a placement on a new Carvel commercial which is airing now, some of you may have seen it. Its our first national t.v. commercial placement ;) yay. Make sure to check out the video and watch the commercial at the end!!!. Also the Ciara remix is official and is now up on our myspace page . Finally we got the Ciara - Like a Boy remix up. We know alot of people been waiting for it but we couldnt put it up until we got the ok from the label. Its been like a good 2 months but thats how things work in the music industry. Some songs take months upto a year to go through others could happen in days. We’re still not sure if this is gonna be the official dance remix or not. We’ll find out probably by end of next week or so, hopefully we make it ;) . If it becomes official, then we’ll get the final mixed version and put it up on our myspace. We also got some R&B stuff coming up soon, very soon lol. So far now just enjoy this nice mysto & pizzi dance remix ;). Please leave us feedback.

Whats good everyone. We have teamed up with Energizer and DUB Magazine to provide a beat for their new Freestyle contest. It snowed today over here in NY, in March?!? so we had to do some shoveling and keep the sidewalk clean, we implented some new techniques in doing so. Hey sorry for the late update, Mysto was sick for like a week and then we had midterms in school so we was out of the loop. Anyway though, we came up with an interesting idea today. We decided to make a beat publicly available to all the writers out there. We show how we made the beat in the video and then we posted it up on our page @ http://www.mystoandpizzi.com/writers . Basically if your a writer, you get a chance to write a song on one of our beats and submit it to us.
