Whats good people, we’re back from LA, back on the grind here in NY. We just wanted to post a quick recap of what we did in LA and mention all the great people we got to meet and work with. First off we just gotta say we had great and productive trip. We returned with about 5 banging new songs and couple hot new beats. Day 1 we aint get to do much and unfortunately missed the BMI awards, which we didnt even know were on the same day we got in. We did however get to kick it with our boy PDflo a bit and talk about a new movie he’s working on, a musical, for which we’re gonna be doing alot of the music for, cant wait to get started on that, its gonna be big!. Day 2 we had 2 songwriting sessions, first one was with BWB who wrote “Damaged” for Danity Kane, great session and great team, we got a real nice mid-ballad done. Second session was with The Woodworks, a new upcoming songwriting group from Inglewood, LA, they got a song on the new Pussycat Dolls album called “Take over the world”. Whats good people, we just touched down in LA, staying here for a week on the grind, going to be doing a bunch of songwriting sessions and hopefully get some bangers done. Since this weekend is MTV VMA weekend, pretty much everyone is out here in LA and we’re hoping to meet some new people and establish connects. But what we really wanted to talk about is the flight on the way here. We took Virgin America for the first time and being the techies that we are, we were impressed. Entering the plane we felt like we was in a club, with the neon black/blue lights and music. Next thing we noticed is the power outlets at every seat for your phone or laptop, finally! A must have feature nowadays. All the screens were touchscreen, with on-screen food menus and ordering, all you had to do was pick what drink or meal you want, click order, and couple minutes later the flight attendant brought it out to you. To top it all off, the remote for the tv/music detaches from the armrest and becomes a full qwerty keyboard, which can be used for the “coming soon” email and text messaging feature. All this for under $300 made it an even sweeter deal. So anyone out there planning a trip, make sure to look into Virgin America, its def. worth it. Finally an airline that meets today’s electronic demands.

Hey guys, as promised, here is the footage from Day 2 of the OpenLabs Live Broadcast. This time around we did a slow r&b/pop ballad and then remixed it towards the end. We also got Dave from OpenLabs to lay down some guitars, straight into the Neko, live on the spot. This video is a bit longer and more in depth of our beatmaking process. Hey guys, just wanted to put up a quick video. We’re over here wrapping up our 3-day session @ Chung Kings studio with Wynter. We pretty much spent the last 3 days just going over, mixing and finalizing all the songs we’ve done for the album. Its been a crazy 3 days but we got everything more or less finished. We decided to do a quick tour of the studio we are working out of so you guys could get a visual of where the grind takes place when we’re not working out of our basement lol. In the video you’ll see the Red, Blue and Gold rooms of Chung King Studio’s, where many classics have been recorded/mixed etc. Anyway enjoy the video and stay tuned for part 2 of the OpenLabs live broadcast which should be up either tomorrow night or saturday morning.

Whats good people, here is the long awaited footage from the live broadcast we
did @ OpenLabs back in June. This is day 1 of the 3 day broadcast and we had enough time to do 2 tracks live on the spot, just feelin it out. First beat was kind of an uptempo urban/pop track and the second one is more of a darker hiphop vibe. We then went back on the broadcast later on in the day and did a 3rd beat, which you can see below as well, thanks to Abb from Openlabs for editing and posting. This was our first time working on the Neko and we just have to say that its an incredible machine, Quad Core, 1 Terabyte of HD Space, 4Gb of ram, more then you need to do almost anything, like this video, which was edited entirely on the Neko :) . Anyone who is looking to upgrade their setup, make sure to go check out the Neko & Miko keyboards. The broadcast was a blast and we got to meet some new people including the whole OpenLabs staff, who are an amazing bunch and some of the featured broadcast artists/producers. Finally got our hands on the new issue of Rap-Up after we heard Wynter had an article in there. Just wanted to give a HUGE thanks to Wynter for giving us our first official Magazine mention/shoutout, yay!! Hopefully we’ll have our own article in Rap-Up soon :) until then can’t wait till the album comes out cause its gonna be crazy!.
