Hey guys here is the video we promised last week. We basically just do a quick walk through of our studio and equipment including the Neko and show how we have everything setup. cuz i juststarted to build my home studio (have a Fame KC49 MIDI Controller, QuadCore PC, And a audio interface for now..)

above the digi is Triton rack, Fantom rack and a MoPhatt rack. We used to use them back in the day, they’re not even plugged in now. And motif aint for sale lol.

but damn, like safe said, its crazy the neko has the whole HERO beat in it :D :D If I would buy this keyboard I would be on #1 :D :D :D just hitting 2 or 3 keys :D

Producing on Sonar 7, did you guys see the sonar 8 and the V700 interface/controller? and fantom VS synth with the I/O.? Anyways, the Neko is great but as control goes the Gen3 has more to offer hands on esp wit the V4 update.
M&P you guys know bout KVRaudio for plug’ins?
nah havent seen sonar 8, its out already? didn’t even know, will check it out. Never heard of V700 controller and no dont know KVRaudio plugins although they do sound familiar, will check it out, thanks!
yo what kind of mic is that? and a quick question.
1. is there a dif between havin the mic upside down vs right side up?
2. what do u think about recording outside a booth vs. inside one. check the vid response to see where my mic is in the vid.
its a Neumann TLM 103, not sure if there is a different upside or down, as long as its in front and not sideways or something. Booth is probably better as far as acoustics, but alot of stuff we’ve done lately was cut in our room and is making a major album, its really all in the mixing. Just use good headphones while recording so there is no bleeding.

I’m doing a mix cd at the moment. Your remix of Love lockdown is at the beginning of the mix.
However, after listening to the whole mix again, it seems that love lockdown lacks a bit of high end?
At first, i thought it was because of a low quality version that i downloaded but then i downloaded from your website. It’s still the same.

Hey any know how on ADAT recording? I haven’t purchase workstation yet, because I really like to record multiple channels at one time but suddenly I was put on ADAT(records 8 tracks simultaneously), I’ve seen it on every workstation from the motif, M3, Fantom but it seems people are styll recording 1 track at a time. LONG STORY SHORT, have you recorded the motif on ADAT cable? and OH YEA… Dimension Pro, Rapture…It would be total EASE to have multiple outputs on those synths instead of 4 elements right? I’m a sonar & cubase user ex-FL Studio(NO hands on automation, but great Midi Editor(piano roll,write chords,scales and pitch bend lfo) Sequencer on the sonar got my attention, DAMN I wrote ALOT.. but what ur fav sequencers or features u like on Sonar?
dunno about ADAT recording, i think thats old school. We used the motif as a midi controller for software vsts on the pc, so no cable. too many features to name in sonar that we like, overall though is the workflow and comfortability. Waiting for Protools to get there one day maybe!. Cant wait to try out Sonar 8 though, looks pretty good.

We were in school, but past 2 semesters we’re off cause we’re working extra hard. But we were still doing 4-5days of work a week with school, just had school early from like 9-2pm, then work till 8-9pm, it gets hard but not impossible.

Since I just found you guys yesterday Im curious on some things;
How did you get discovered? Obviously you guys are really talented and should get all the success that has come to you, but alot of talented people dont make it. Did it start out like you guys would post a video on youtube showing how you made a beat and someone like jive heard it? Or did you just send your work out to whoever would hear it?

im just wondering how you guys feel about sonar as your sequencer now..
i just recently made the decision to go with sonar 8. i was gonna grab the full cubase but the whl dongle idea swayed me…
i just want to know how u guys like working with sonar vs. the motif sequencer. and have u guys made use of the cloning feature yet on the neko?????
ohh word my bad yo… i just saw another video where u were using the motif so i gues i just assumed u were using its sequencer.
As for sonar 8 …. it should be here soon still. i have been rockin cubase for a minute. the LE version and cracked versions…. i refuse to use bootleggs anymore (too many problems) i started to look at geeting the full cubase 4 but decided against it after looking into sonar.
and yeah i didnt know about that website either i’mma check it out just now still good looks!
