First off just wanted to give Kanye a shoutout for giving us the chance to remix this song by putting all the files on his blog. We wanted to do something crazy from the minute we heard the original song during the VMA’s so once we got the acapella we went IN. We’ve been listening to alot of Electro House music lately so we wanted to do a remix in that lane. So here it finally is, the official Mysto & Pizzi Love Lockdown remix. Hey guys here is the final installment in the OpenLabs live broadcast videos. This was our last day @ Austin Texas, couple hours before our flight. We decided to just do an uptempo club/pop/urban type track just to deviate from what we have already done in day 1 and 2. We kept it simple and straight to the point, so check it out and enjoy. We just wanted to thank OpenLabs once again for giving us the opportunity and wonderful experience @ the broadcast and Austin in general, we had a great time. Whats good people, we’re back from LA, back on the grind here in NY. We just wanted to post a quick recap of what we did in LA and mention all the great people we got to meet and work with. First off we just gotta say we had great and productive trip. We returned with about 5 banging new songs and couple hot new beats. Day 1 we aint get to do much and unfortunately missed the BMI awards, which we didnt even know were on the same day we got in. We did however get to kick it with our boy PDflo a bit and talk about a new movie he’s working on, a musical, for which we’re gonna be doing alot of the music for, cant wait to get started on that, its gonna be big!. Day 2 we had 2 songwriting sessions, first one was with BWB who wrote “Damaged” for Danity Kane, great session and great team, we got a real nice mid-ballad done. Second session was with The Woodworks, a new upcoming songwriting group from Inglewood, LA, they got a song on the new Pussycat Dolls album called “Take over the world”.
